Turon Gates - Mountain Retreat - Capertee

Situated in Capertee, Turon Gates - Mountain Retreat features accommodation with seating area. This 3-star campground offers water sports facilities and luggage storage space. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station.

Once you turn off the highway, there is 12 km of regularly graded unsealed dirt road. The road is graded for 2WD use.

Riverside Log Cabin - Sleeps up to 6. Great for pets and families. Pets are an additional charge. Our riverside cabins are very comfortable and you should have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Each log cabin is fully furnished with a full kitchen, outdoor BBQ and has a cosy fireplace. There is a Nespresso coffee machine for yummy capuccinos. There is one separate bedroom with king-size bed plus 4 single beds in the main room. Whilecottages have the same bedroom and floor layout, some cabins have balconies, others have wide open spaces. We are self-catering so bring your food and drinks and a beach towel with you if you like the idea of swimming in the river on your doorstep. Your pet is welcome to stay with you. Do bring bedding and feeding bowls, look after droppings and please no pets up on the beds or chairs. We have 5 paw pet accreditation! Two-Bedroom Cottage with Mountain View (6 Adults). Pet & family friendly - pets are an additional charge. This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage has a wide covered and secure balcony and looks over Running Stream, a spawning creek for trout that feeds the main Turon Gates stream. It is situated on a point on the river and is very private. A little note for young ones - hours of enjoyment can be had down by the stream - look for tadpoles, frogs and wombat visits. There are two main bedrooms with views and queen size beds. 2 main bathrooms and 2 single day beds in the main loungedining area. Glamping Tent - Adult Only & No Pets Allowed. This luxurious glamping tent includes a large king-sized bed, sofa, reading lamps, a dining table for 2 and a crackling log fire in the main room. There is an en suite bathroom with a vanity, 2-person bath, a shower and a toilet. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, gas stove top and a Nespresso coffee machine with coffee pods. There is a balcony with gas BBQ facilities and sun lounges overlooking the tranquil Turon River. Your outdoor firepit can also be used for a BBQ. Camp chairs are available. There is solar powered lighting and a ceiling fan. Please bring your own milk for the coffee machine. Please note that this is an adult only Glamping Tent. Children cannot be accommodated.
